At 16:30pm, 9th,Nov.,2015, during unloading the diesel, a tanker docked in Lianyungang port 14 berths, because the

port 2 #, 3 # cargo hold a globe valve failure to cause the diesel oil spilled out from the valve,overflow the deck and then

flow into the sea, it forms an obvious oil belt between stroke-side and oil containment boom,and form a minor accidents

rank pollution.After the oil spill accident,ship side didn’t report to marine department at the first time, captain self-organize

crews to do the clean up work, unauthorized to use the oil spill dispersant that hope o remove the oil fouling on the sea.

When Lianyungang marine department received the information was close to dark,rapidly send the law enforce rush to

the scene, arrange the ship side and professional cleaning team go for clean up, and overtime work throughout the night

to carry out the investigation of the accidents.After emergency handling, in the morning of 10th,tanker’s deck and sea

surface spilled oil all completed.

By the vessel failed to timely report and unauthorized use of oil spill dispersants to form a case of illegal behavior,now,
