3pm in the afternoon on 28th,Jan.,2016, the downstream cruise team of marine department from Suyu district,Suqian city,

Jiangsu Province, when they come to the three miles water area then found the the oil pollution diffusion from south shore.

After checking, they found a tug boat got stranded, half of the tugboat already sank into the water, there were diesel oil

out from the engine room.

In order to keep the clean water of grand canal for SNWT, Suyu marine department immediately started the contingency

plan and contact environmental protection administration to environmental monitor for the water quality. 15minutes later,

maritime law enforcement officials brought the Oil Absorbent Mat and other emergency supplies to the scene.After one

hour of hard work, the oil pollution has disposed at 4pm. After detection, the affect of oil pollution for water already

eliminated.
