In the afternoon of 1st,April, Zhongshan MSA command center received the call, there has a cargo vessel suddenly hull

fracture and sank into the hengximen waterway, did the shipping business influenced by the accident? Did any oil pollution

come out? 

As known from the marine department, the 7 staffs on the board all didn’t injured and has be resettled peacefully.

Wang Yuepeng, the vice director of Zhongshan MSA command center said, they already deployed the

Oil Spill Containment Boom at the scene and arranged the wastes cleaning boats,took out the all fuel oil from the original

oil box, so there will not have the risk of water area pollution.

Now the accident reason is still in the investigation process, marine department has contacted with salvage company and

doing the salvage proposal now.
