In order to promote river dredging work more forcefully, orderly and effectively, on April 4th, the 2018 

river dredging special meeting was held in Xianghua Town. The meeting was chaired by Huang Qing, 

Deputy Mayor of Agriculture, Economic Affairs Office, Waterworks, project supervision and construction

and other units attended the meeting.

Before the meeting, the director of the town economic office first led the participants to inspect the dredging 

of the river in the town. Through dredging by using silt curtains and dredger, water system penetration,

regular cleaning and other measures, there have been no minor changes in the rivers and sluiceways in 

the town before the regulation, but there still have some problems such as incomplete greening on the banks 

and indiscriminate dumping of garbage by nearby residents.

At the meeting, Vice Mayor Huang Qing summed up the problems that had arisen in the previous work and 

asked all departments to carry out rectification as soon as possible. At the same time, the construction unit 

is required to complete the river dredging work according to the quality and quantity of the time nodes, 

and the relevant departments must do a good job of supervision work.
