On July 13, Guangzhou Port Longxue South Waterway Maintenance Dredging Project was 

passed the Acceptance, which was constructed by CCCC Guangzhou Dredging Co., Ltd.

The Longxue South Waterway Dredging Project was started on December 8, 2017. The 

project is located at the 30# standard river section of Jiaomenkou to Guangzhou Port Seaway. 

It is the main channel of the 3,000-ton inland river from Nansha Port Area to Xijiang Main Line. 

It is also the main channel from the intermodal port area to the coastal and near-ocean transportation

in Nanshan. It was deployed silt curtains for controlling the silt and then carried out dredging.

The implementation of the Longxue South Waterway dredging project was further improved 

the conditions for the navigation of Guangzhou Port and improved the ability of Guangzhou Port

to meet the needs of large ships entering and leaving the port, and provided assistance to promote

the state's deep participation in the “Belt and Road” construction.
