Recently, the dredging project of the dredging of the Shenxian Line 

Waterway Rugao Water Service Area anchorage was passed the

acceptance check, and the ship can be docked. The project is 

convenient for boater to use shore power piles, shopping, walking,

etc., and it was ensures the safety of anchorage in the service area.

Since the beginning of summer, the number of ships docked in the 

water service area has been increasing. Due to the serious siltation 

of the anchorage of the water service area, the ship can not be close

to the docking, and the boater are very inconvenient to charge, shop 

and leisure. Rugao City Waterway Management Station has been anchoring

the anchorage of the water service area to the centerline of the waterway

from August 16th, with a length of about 509 meters and a width of about

100 meters. The earthwork is dredged and muddy on the shore. It was 

deployed silt curtains and used dredger for cleaning the silt. The total dreding

earthwork was 23,400 cubic meters.
