On September 13th, Jiyuan City Maritime Organization carried out the 2018 Jiyuan City Water 

Traffic Safety Emergency Rescue Comprehensive Drill in Xiaolangdi Terminal of the Jurisdiction,

and there were included three projects, such as ship firefighting, ship anti-oil spill and personnel 

water rescue. The comprehensive command, rapid response, emergency response and

coordinated combat capability of the water traffic safety emergency response in the jurisdiction

were tested. Among them, ship firefighting and personnel rescue are the traditional drill subjects.

The ship anti-oil spill exercise is a new subject this year. It mainly targeted oil pollution incidents 

in ships, which were quickly intercepted, controlled, cleaned, recycled and transported pollutants

according to predetermined procedures by deploying oil booms and oil absorbent pads. All the 

participants coordinated, responded promptly, operated quickly and disposed properly.
