Recently, the Party Committee Secretary and Director of the Municipal Port and
Shipping Administration (local Maritime Bureau) Sha Dehong came to the on-site
inspection and guidance work of the maintenance dredging project of the Guxi
River waterway (Huyang Bridge - Ruijiazui) and held a project site meeting. Wang
Yan, deputy director of the Port and Shipping Bureau, relevant personnel of the
Planning and Construction Section, and the person in charge of the project
construction and supervision unit attended the event.
Sha Dehong and his entourage conducted a site inspection of the dredging project
in the Taocun Port, and listened to the reports from construction units, supervision
units and other relevant personnel, focusing on the current progress and problems
of the project. Sha Dehong fully affirmed the achievements of the project department
and the supervision department in 2018, and praised the resumption of work after
the festival in 2019. In response to the next phase of work, Sha Dehong stressed
that it is necessary to raise awareness, recognize the situation, and clarify the objectives.
We need focus on the two cores of safety and environmental protection, and
strengthen communication and collaboration with local governments, departments
and related departments to jointly solve problems. In the environment, we should
use a large amount of silt curtains for enviornmentail dredging. They also should
accelerate the progress of the project. Second, we must highlight the key points
in the follow-up construction, carefully organize, ensure the smooth progress of
the production of important node projects, consider the unfavorable factors in
advance, and pay attention to the process control. Third, the construction unit,
the supervision unit, and the owner unit should perform their duties, enhance the
sense of responsibility and urgency, and implement relevant work in a timely manner
with high standards and strict requirements to ensure the smooth completion of
the project as soon as possible.
