In recent years, Jiangyong County vigorously carried out the “clean villages 

to help rural revitalization” activities, and 112 villages (communities) in 9 

townships organized the masses to act consciously, practice their sense 

of ownership, and actively participate in village clean-up operations. Each 

village purchased garbage cans for free to each villager, and mobilized the 

villagers to clean up the firewood, garbage, plastic bags, etc. They also 

purchased silt curtains for controlling the silt and garbage, and then they 

carry out river dredging, and clean up rural sewage pits, stinking ditch, 

black and stinky water bodies.
