Jiayang Coal Mine launched a series of environmental pollution accident emergency drill. 

After received reports of grease leakage, downhole water pollution and discoloration 

and sulfuric acid spillover in the first time, Jiayang Coal Mine Environmental Pollution 

Emergency Rescue Command quickly launched a emergency plan to carry out accident 

rescue work in an orderly manner.

This year, the coal mine carried out three pollution “accident” emergency drills for oil 

pollution accident, water quality accident and sulfuric acid spillover accident. After 

received the “accident” report on the site, the dispatching center reported the 

escalation according to the standard process and launched the emergency plan. 

The rescue personnel went to the scene of the accident in the first time for 

preventing the pollution accident from further expansion. In the case of first-hand

 information, the members of the Leading Group of the Emergency Rescue Department 

further observed the situation of the accident handling, negotiated specific plans 

for the decision-making to properly handle the pollution sources, and conducted detailed 

actions according to the responsibilities of the team members. It was used oil absorbent pads 

for cleaning the oil spill. In this round of exercise, the Coal Mine Environmental Protection 

Office made a comprehensive summary of the achievements and exposed deficiencies in 

the emergency drills.

It is reported that the mine will take the three types of most likely environmental pollution 

accident emergency drills as the key to meet the needs of enterprises for emergency 

disposal work. Through the prevention practice of implementing environmental protection 

work, it is educated employees to self-discipline and keep improving the emergency rescue 

and disposal level of the whole mine.
