On June 13, 2019 Sanya tourist ship fire and oil spill emergency drills were held in the Sanya Wuzhizhou 

Island Tourist attractions.

This is the first time that Sanya has carried out maritime tourist ship pollution prevention drill. During the 

drill, it was set up fire extinguishing, oil spill control by deploying oil booms and pollution removal by using 

oil absorbent pads these emergency subjects. A total of 6 ships, 1 drone and more than 60 people were 

participated in this drill.

The drill was further improved the sudden tourist ship safety and environmental pollution accidents disposal 

abilities of Sanya, and provided reliable maritime safety and pollution prevention for the Sanya tourism 

economic circle.
