In order to enhance the crew's awareness of pollution prevention, achieve the purpose of anti-pollution 

emergency knowledge and anti-pollution equipment use skills training, further test to improve the emergency

treatment of water pollution prevention and human life rescue capabilities, effectively prevent and contain 

serious pollution accidents. In conjunction with the theme activity of the “Wuhu Maritime Safety Bureau 

of the Yangtze River”, the level of efficient emergency response in the waters of the jurisdiction will be 

improved to ensure the stability of the security situation during the safe production month. On the morning 

of June 14, Digang Maritime organized a gas station to carry out anti-pollution emergency drill. 

The drill was consisted of three major subjects, including ship firefighting, life-saving assistance, and oil spill 

clean-up by oil absorbent pads spraying and oil booms deployment. The drill realized coordination among 

various departments through VHF, realized remote command and improved search and rescue efficiency. 

During the exercise, each participating unit cooperated with each other in an efficient and orderly manner 

according to their respective duties. All units are highly efficient in fire drills, timely and accurate in life-saving 

exercises, and scientifically sound in oil spill drills. After the exercise, the general commander and the on-site 

commander commented on the exercise.
