Recently, Badong Town, Santai County has increased its investment, and organized 

personnel and machinery to carry out dredging and control of the main rivers in the 

area under its jurisdiction, to prepare for flood prevention and drought resistance, 

and to ensure smooth river channels.

Sujia River and Yejia River are the main rivers in Badong Town. The river siltation 

has increasingly affected the normal function of drainage, irrigation and water supply. 

In order to restore the normal functions of rivers, Badong Town has dredged the rivers

in the area half a month ago. This cleanup mainly focuses on the centralized and unified 

removal of domestic garbage, weeds, silt and other floating objects in the river. It was 

used silt curtains and excavators by controlling these and cleaning these.
