In recent days, the river system connection project of Longshanxi(Jinshan Section) in Jinshan Town, 

Nanjing County has been accelerated. The town organized to dredge of 7 rivers and ditches, and 

at the same time mobilized cadres and villagers in 8 villages within the jurisdiction to carry out 

cleaning and removal of debris along the river.

The main stream of Longshanxi (Jinshan section) and 6 tributaries in Jinshan Town were totally 

18.51 kilometers long, with a total design investment of 13.94319 million yuan for ecological 

restoration of the connected river system. It is planned to implement 170,300 square meters 

of river barriers and 119,600 square meters of ecological dredging Meters, it will use silt curtains 

and dredger for surrounding the silt and garbage and cleaning them, it was also newly built 

4 artificial ecological wetlands with a total area of 27,000 square meter and the total length 

of new and reinforced bank protection was 18.96 kilometers. The implementation of the 

above measures will further enhance the ecological management functions such as river 

dredging, drainage and sewage interception, it will effectively improve the water quality 

of this river section, and improve the surrounding water ecological environment, and 

36,000 people along the line will benefit.
