In order to improve the rural water environment in an all-round way and polish the name card of 

"Water Beauty Jurong", in 2020, Jurong City will carry out county and township river dredging 

and remediation through measures such as "river channel dredging, bank slope improvement, 

water system communication, and ecological restoration" , and promote the construction of 

rural ecological rivers. Through dredging and the construction of ecological rivers, Jurong ’s 

water is truly alive, cleared, and beautiful, it will provide more ecologically livable and beautiful 

water environment for the people of the city, and comprehensively help the rural development.

It is understood that this year the city plans to dredge 20 rural rivers, dredge 600,000 cubic 

meters of earth, and build 5 ecological rivers. Up to now, the river dredging volume has 

completed 40% of the total task volume.It is used silt curtains and dredgers.
