The safety supervision department of Chengshan Township organized Xinxia Ship Repair Co., Ltd. 

to carry out  fire rescue emergency drill.

At 10 a.m., the drill was started. The site simulated when a cargo ship docked at the dock of 

Longyan Port Xinxia Ship Repairing Company during repair operations, the sparks ignited the 

surrounding materials and caused a fire when the employees started operations. One employee 

was injured in the process, the situation was very critical, and a fire rescue operation was launched .

The danger is an order, and the rescue is urgent. After received the alarm signal, the safety 

department of Xinxia Ship Repair Company immediately started the ship fire emergency rescue 

plan. The safety supervisor sounded the fire alarm and organized the emergency evacuation 

of the construction personnel on board. The fire rescue team and emergency rescue team 

quickly rushed to the scene to rescue.

After counting the number, 120 construction workers were successfully evacuated, but one 

employee was missing and suspected to be trapped! The ambulance team immediately 

searched and rescued the personnel. Soon, the position of the trapped employee was 

successfully determined. Due to his leg injury during the retreat, he could not move. The 

rescue team successfully rescued him by hanging the cage, and was sent to a nearby 

hospital for further treatment after on-site treatment.

At the same time, the fire rescue team quickly reached the fire point and took effective 

measures such as fire detection and extinguishing. In order to prevent the occurrence 

of secondary marine pollution incidents, the anti-pollution team immediately sprayed the 

oil dispersant with a high-pressure water machine to deal with the risk of oil spill caused

by fire after receiving the anti-pollution instructions.

After the exercise, Chengshan Town Safety Supervision Department and the person in 

charge of the enterprise commented on the exercise. This exercise strengthened Xinxia 

Ship Repair Company's ability to quickly and efficiently handle ship accidents, and achieved 

the expected results.
