Recently, the China Aviation Oil Yichun Supply Station, the Yichun Lindu Airport Guardianship 

and Fire Fighting Organization jointly carried out an aircraft apron oil spill emergency drill.

At 13:30 that day, the drill was officially begun. During the refueling process, the refueler 

found that the fuel outlet of the fuel truck was overflowing, he immediately stopped 

refueling, released the dumbman, closed the refueling ball valves, photographed the 

emergency flameout device, quickly opened the emergency kit of the fuel truck, and 

used the oil absorbent pads nd oil absorbent boom to control and clean the the 

"ground oil products" , it prevented the oil products from flowing to the aircraft tires, 

at the same time, they reported to the duty manager of the supply station to request 

support. After received the report, the on-duty leader immediately launched the "Yichun 

Supply Station Fuel Tanker Aircraft Oil Spilling Site Disposal Plan" and notified Lindu Airport 

Guardian to cooperate with the alert in accordance with the requirements of the plan. 

Emergency rescue personnel rushed to the scene with oil spill disposal materials, and 

the on-duty oiler drove the tank-type fuel truck to the apron to prepare for the

replacement of the fuel truck. Guardians alerted around the oil spill area to protect the 

scene and prevent other vehicles and unrelated personnel from entering. The 

decontamination personnel placed oil absorbent booms around the incident area to 

prevent the spread of oil pollution, and used oil absorbent pads to absorb and recover 

the “leaking” jet fuel. At 13:46, the on-site oil spill cleaning and recovery was completed,

the faulty vehicle was evacuated in time, the backup fuel truck entered the security 

station, and the refueling operation was continued, and the emergency drill was 

successfully completed.
