In the morning, the Xiamen Maritime Bureau held a ship oil spill accident  emergency drill 

at the Songyu Maritime Terminal. The main content of this drill is the emergency response 

and treatment of ship oil leakage and waterproof body pollution.

On the spot, the drill was mainly drilled the use and emergency recovery of self-propelled  

oil skimmers and  spraying of oil spill dispersant in open water, the use of unloading screw 

pumps for spillage of oil pollution sources, and the use of vacuum skimmers and medium 

skimmers in coastal waters. During the exercise, the emergency personnel responded 

quickly, the movements were standard, and they were skilled in coordination, it was 

demonstrated a strong ability to coordinate operations and a high level of emergency 

response to sudden pollution accidents.
