The water accident simulation and emergency response drill was officially started at 3:30. 

The accident was simulated when the ship “Jiaoyun Ferry 07” was docked in Liangjiang 

New Area due to poor tail shaft sealing, a large amount of oil was spilled. "Jiaoyun Ferry 

07" ship immediately called the police and dialed the on-duty phone to request rescue. 

After receiving the alarm, the headquarters immediately activated the emergency plan. 

Subsequently, the teams arrived at the scene and started rescue work. During the 

rescue, the teams started to deal with the oil pollution, they deployed oil booms and 

oil absorbent pads, and put the recovered oil absorbent pads and oil booms into fixed 

waste buckets. And then The Liangjiang Branch of Ecological Environment took water

samples on site.
