The Yantai Maritime Safety Administration organized and carried out a marine oil spill emergency drill. 

The leaders of the engineering fleet of Yantai Salvage Bureau and more than ten people from the fleet, 

diving team, and support department visited the drill site to observe, exchange and learn.

This drill was undertaken by the oil spill emergency center of Yantai Maritime Safety Administration, 

and it mainly included 3 subjects: marine oil spill containment, oil spill recovery and removal, and 

terminal protection. That is, the use of oil booms for oil spill containment, the use of mechanical 

equipment to recover and remove oil, the protection of shoreline facilities and the removal of 

shoreline oil spills.etc.

The drill process was smooth and effective, and it tested the organization, coordination and on-site 

emergency response capabilities of oil spill response. Through the drill, the emergency personnel's 

field operation ability was improved, the equipment performance was tested, the experience was 

accumulated, the team was trained, and the expected goal was achieved.
