In recent years, Yongjia County has been affected by typhoons and rains, and some rivers 

in the county have been seriously silted, which has affected the flood control safety and 

water environment safety of villages along the river. The Yongjia County Water Conservancy

Bureau immediately organized an investigation team based on the reports of the towns and 

townships to conduct an investigation on the necessity of river dredging in the county.

River dredging is an important livelihood project, which has positive significance for increasing 

the water storage capacity of the river, improving the self-purification capacity of the water body, 

improving the water environment, improving the living environment of the surrounding residents, 

and improving the water ecological environment of the county. It will use silt curtains and dredgers 

for dredging work. We must attach great importance to river dredging work, refine the division of 

responsibilities, promote the county’s river dredging work in accordance with laws and regulations, 

and ensure the safety of production and life of residents along the river and the smooth flooding 

of the river.
