A special meeting on safety production of the waterway improvement project and auxiliary facilities 

engineering in Loushui,Hefeng County(Hefeng City to Jiangping River Section) was held, and the 

construction progress of the project was notified at the meeting.

At present, the project has completed the dredging(by using silt curtains and dredging ships) and 

blasting of reefs, totaling 219,698.33 cubic meters, of which 20,4067.9 cubic meters have been 

completed for dredging, excavation and transportation, 4,400.33 cubic meters for paving 

protection, and 11,190.1 cubic meters of blasted rock fragments have been completed.

The project is a state-level key project, with a total investment of29,630,95 million yuan. 

At present, 70% of the project has been completed and is expected to be completed in June 

this year.The project starts at the first dam in Hefeng County, passing through Changling, 

Chayuanping, Laocun River, and Nandu River, and ends at the Jiangping River dam site, with 

a channel length of 57.8 kilometers. Among them: the planned level of 42.5 kilometers from 

the Jiangping River dam site to the Laocun River is level IV; the 5.2 kilometers from Laocun 

River to Chayuanping is planned to be level V; the 10.1 kilometers from Chaaping River to 

the first sluice dam is planned to be level VI, and the main construction content are hydraulic 

construction engineering, dredging engineering, reef blasting engineering, bank protection 

engineering, navigation mark engineering and supporting engineering.
