At present, our city is about to enter the flood season. In order to improve the flood disaster prevention 

and water emergency response capabilities, the Jieyang Maritime Safety Administration has organized 

and carried out three flood season water emergency emergency comprehensive drills, covering the 

Rongjiang Nanbeihe and Huilai coastal areas.

It is reported that in this comprehensive emergency drill, the Jieyang Maritime Safety Administration, 

based on the hidden dangers and weaknesses of water traffic safety in flood seasons in the districts 

of our city, scientifically formulated drill plans and refined drill scripts, respectively, in accordance with

the actual conditions of the Rongjiang Nanbeihe and Huilai coastal areas. Scientifically set up 3 actual 

combat drill scenes, including emergency flood prevention of Huilai coastal water conservancy project, 

emergency rescue of Rongjiang Nanhe ferry, and emergency treatment of flood prevention and pollution 

prevention of Rongjiang Beihe. The content covers emergency situations such as ship out of control, 

personnel in distress, and fuel leakage disposal by using oil booms and oil absorbent pads. During 

the exercise, the exercises were completed in an orderly, scientific and professional, safe and smooth 

manner by adopting methods such as remote intelligent command, online comprehensive coordination, 

and on-site emergency response. After the exercise, each exercise team also conducted comments 

and summaries separately, and carefully analyzed the good practices and shortcomings in the exercise. 

Through the exercises, the rationality and feasibility of various emergency plans for water traffic safety 

were effectively tested, the awareness of flood prevention and disaster relief of relevant wading units 

was enhanced, the coordination ability and response skills of rescue teams were exercised, and the 

coordination and cooperation between ships and personnel of water emergency response were further 

improved.
