The acceptance meeting of Tonghai Waterway internal and external maintenance dredging project 

was held recently. The representatives of Fuzhou Port Bureau, Provincial Harbor Institute, Fuzhou 

Port Navigation Engineering Department, Luhai Construction Management Co., Ltd., and Provincial

Port and Water Survey Center attended the meeting and listened the work report from the participating

units. After carefully reviewed the project data, they agreed to pass the acceptance.

The Tonghai Waterway is the main channel for ships entering and exiting the Inner Harbor area of the 

Minjiang Estuary. The maintenance and dredging project is to maintain the dredging of the shallow 

sections of the internal and external sand sections of the Tonghai waterway, it will use silt curtains,

so that the water depth of the waterway can meet the requirements for the entry and exit of ships 

and guarantee the safe and unimpeded navigation channels.
